Kimika Rozier: Founder & Owner
Kimika Rozier has competed where the margin for error disappears. Over 10 years as a professional, she played in 12 countries and learned from coaches, systems and styles across the world. Each stop gave her a new technique and a new way of thinking about, approaching and playing the game. Together they taught her what it takes to compete at the highest level: the mindset to stay composed under pressure, the discipline to prepare when no one is watching, and the resilience to rise when the challenge demands more.
Before going pro, Kimika competed at Washington State University and the University of South Florida, where she reached the Elite Eight. At WSU she also served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. She has spent more than 20 years coaching, including work with USA Volleyball’s National Team Development Program.
Why Triad
Throughout her career, Kimika saw what the world’s best training environments had in common. They don’t just train volleyball players. They develop the whole athlete: the skills she brings to the court, the strength and health of her body, the confidence in her mind, and the character she carries into every part of her life. Every piece matters, and every piece is connected. Kimika also saw how rarely young athletes get access to that kind of environment. She founded Triad Volleyball Academy to build it, a destination where athletes from any region can train at the level the best programs demand.
Her philosophy is shaped by the world game: there is no single way to play great volleyball. She challenges every athlete to expand their knowledge, absorb every technique and perspective available, and craft a game that is uniquely their own. Through Preparation, Precision and Performance, Triad develops athletes who compete with confidence, lead with character and thrive beyond the court.
Excellence is built. Kimika has built it in 12 countries, and now she’s building it at Triad.
